June is National Pride Month! If you’ve been following here for a while or been listening to @pouringoverpagespodcast, you’d know that I’m a big LGBTQIA+ ally #biensupportive. Everyone deserves equal rights. PERIOD. In support of Pride, I’m highlighting a list of LGBTQ+ wines to check out. I’ve personally enjoyed wines from @Camins2dreams and @garyfarrellwinery.
Camins 2 Dreams
My first of many LGBTQ+ wines is from a team of two winemakers, wife and wife, whose paths first crossed in 2006 through the wine industry. Their friendship grew through wine and travels, which also sparked their love. Their journey of friendship, love, and wine birthed their dream winery, I’ve had the pleasure of tasting Camins 2 Dreams Grüner Veltliner and paired it with “Firekeeper’s Daughter” for Pouring Over Pages Podcast episode 15. A perfect Pride Month pick.

Gary Farrell Winery
From “Winemaker to Watch” to nominee for “Winemaker of the Year,” heralded lesbian winemaker Theresa Heredia has worked for Gary Farrell Winery for more than 10 years. She leads a partnership with the Human Rights Campaign to help those fighting for equal rights. I’ve paired her Pinot Noir with “Untamed” for Pouring Over Pages Podcast episode 1.

Wines I Want to Try
Other National Pride Month wines I’ve been meaning to try are: @gentlemanfarmerwines, @zafawines, @remywines, @terahwinecompany, @bergevinlanevineyards, and @equalityvines.
