Paddling with Sofia

If anyone knows me, they know that I live on the water – whether it be paddle boarding, kayaking, or beaching it. Every now and then, I’ll opt for something extra in my water bottle, if you get my drift ๐Ÿ˜‰This Sofia Mini can of Blanc de Blancs does the trick.

It comes from the well-known Francis Ford Coppola Winery, located in California. This product in particular is a tribute to Francis Coppola’s only daughter, Sofia.

This cute and stylish beverage comes in a convenient mini can with a straw, perfect for locations that don’t allow bottles. This off-dry wine is a blend of 70% Pinot Blanc, 15% Riesling, and 15% Muscat.

It initially feels weird to drink wine out of a can, but at least this is the cutest canned wine out there. It is light yellow in color and very bubbly. I couldn’t get much of a fragrance, since it’s hard to sniff from the opening in the can, but it definitely has flavors of pear (which I don’t like as much), melon, and apple. It’s very refreshing and has a tingling finish. I wouldn’t drink this in a normal setting, but definitely would grab it for venues where glass is prohibited, like the beach or a park. I saw the four-pack online for about $15. Given the proper setting, I’d give it about a 3/5.
