I’ve been to NYC dozens of times, but I never knew about all the fun you can have on Governors Island—especially at QC Spa. It’s absolutely the best NYC spa. It makes for the perfect day of relaxation and fun in the sun.

Governors Island

Just min­utes from Low­er Man­hat­tan and the Brook­lyn water­front by fer­ry, the Island is a pop­u­lar and unique des­ti­na­tion with an award-win­ning park com­ple­ment­ed by dozens of his­toric build­ings, year-round edu­ca­tion­al and cul­tur­al facil­i­ties, a rich arts and cul­ture pro­gram and 22-acre Nation­al Mon­u­ment man­aged by the Nation­al Park Service.

QC NYC Spa

QC Spa is located on the north side of Governors Island with THE BEST view of Manhattan’s iconic city skyline. They have about 20 wellness spa experiences, including spa pools, saunas, relaxation rooms, steam baths, Vichy showers, foot baths, massages, and more.

I purchased the five hour pass, but I wish I just booked the whole day (as well as a massage). Pro tip—get there early to secure a lounging beach chair and to enjoy the amenities to the fullest.
